Matsautso was playing when a shard of plastic went into his left eye, blinding him immediately.
He was examined and diagnosed with traumatic cataract which would require surgery.
After his operation a plastic eye shield was used to protect his eye from infection and to aid the healing process.
Matsautso’s sight has now been fully restored. He will be able to go back to school and get an education that will give him the best possible chance of a bright future.
